h2osave's product business — AC and RO water recovery kits, the Smart Water Management System, and our Water Stress API — is a commercial operation. But not every community that needs help conserving water can afford a product purchase, and not every conservation project fits a commercial sales model.
Donor contributions fund the separate, non-commercial side of our work: community outreach, subsidized or free installations for households that can't otherwise afford them, and local education around water conservation. This work is kept financially and operationally separate from product sales, and every contribution goes toward the community-facing side of what we do.
